Making it through Monday is no small feat. But don’t worry, we’re here to provide a little motivation to get you through the day. Today’s inspiration comes all the way from South Africa. Ross Symons of Cape Town is the master behind an amazing, ongoing collection of origami creations. Origami is a traditional form of Japanese paper folding that Symons has taken to a modern, marvelous level. In addition to his custom work, Symons has pledged to create one origami creature a day for an entire year. These miniature masterpieces can often take up to 2 hours to fold. Since paper is so near and dear to us, we can’t help but be in awe of someone mastering this medium in such a unique way (his Yoda replica definitely has our Monday frowns turned upside down!). Follow Ross’s 365-day origami journey on Instagram (white_onrice) and visit his website white-onrice.com to see more custom work. Happy Monday!
