Name & Title:
Chandni Lakdawala, Marketing Associate
Describe what you do at Lovepop.
Grow our business on Amazon.
What's the best thing about your job?
Seeing all my work reflect on one of the biggest online shopping sites in the world!
Out of our 4 core values (engineering, hunger, magic, connection), which one describes you best and why?
Connection - I want to be able to connect with our online shoppers and the best way to do that is by putting myself in their shoes as an Amazon shopper. This allows me to market our cards in the best way possible. Plus, I love building connections at work too! Mid-day walks and bubble tea breaks with co-workers are right up my alley.
What is your favorite Lovepop card?
Tell us about a truly unique Lovepop moment.
A truly unique Lovepop moment for me is our everyday culture. Everyone is genuinely very warm and welcoming, which I appreciate. It helps in creating a positive work environment and makes me want to come to work everyday! Small things like this are hard to find in a professional setting and really do have a major impact on your day-to-day.
Another unique moment is when you share your successes with everyone and everyone genuinely roots for you!
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Host a travel and living show. Growing up, I've always had a passion for travel and food. I would always put up TLC and watch hosts visit multiple countries and talk about the culture and local food! And now I've made a promise to myself to visit one country a year and explore their culture and local eateries!
What do you like doing outside of work?
I enjoy cooking and going on hikes in the summer. Reading is fun too!
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chickpea curry and rice.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
"Sorry" by Justin Bieber.
Is there anything else you'd like the world to know about you?
I got selected to play for the national volleyball team in India. However, I decided to pursue my master's education in the US instead... I have no regrets!
