Happy Birthday, Lovepop New York!

It’s been about a year since we opened up our New York retail locations, and man it has been a wild ride. In this year, we:

• Ventured across the Hudson River and opened up an amazing kiosk over at Garden State Plaza.
• Paired up with Urbanspace to add Lovepop to prominent locations over at Columbus Circle and Bryant Park.
• Popped up in spaces (like the MET opera and the World Maker Faire!) and shared thousands of magical moments with our fellow New Yorkers.

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of our Oculus location opening. It’s been an amazing time here; we’ve met people from all over the world that come to visit this historic area in New York, and we’ve been able to spread the joy of opening a Lovepop in-person farther than we could have ever imagined at this location.

In this past year, I’ve also seen our team grow and change, all while striving to create the best experience for our customers. My fondest memory is when members of our New York team hopped on the PATH train, no questions asked, to hand deliver a Willow Love Scene to an Oculus customer that had shopped with us to ensure that it would arrive in time for her wedding the next day.

The Willow Love Scene was extra special to her because she’d gotten engaged at Central Park, and the dedication that our New York team showed in getting the design to her in time for her special day was something that was truly outstanding.

It’s this excitement around making sure that our customers are able to express their special moments with our designs that has driven our growth over the last 12 months. With that said, the next few weeks have some even more awesome things in store!

On November 15th, we’ll be pairing up with Henri Bendel, a historic fashion icon in their flagship 5th Ave store. You’ll be able to see our collaboration through design elements and showcases throughout the store, as well as be able to pick up some exclusive Lovepop cards in the shop. Normally, our work is experienced in a small pop up surprise; with this partnership, you’ll be able to surround yourself with Lovepop on a whole different scale.

Back home in Boston, we’ve got a few other locations popping up as well. Get excited to see us back at Natick Mall and City Hall Plaza for the holidays, as well as our newest location at Northshore Mall, opening up this Sunday!
